Downtime Monitoring: Keyword Detection

Check that your website is displaying the correct content

By default the Web-Stat Downtime Monitor simply checks that your web site is up. Sometimes you need to go further than this and check that the web site is displaying the proper content (for instance if your pages are generated on-the-fly from a database). Keyword detection allows you to do just that.

Simply enter here a keyword that the Downtime Monitor should be able to find on the page you indicated in the 'Web site to watch' section. We will then go to this page at regular interval, download its HTML and look for the specified keyword. If it appears then all is well. If it does not appear, then we send you an alert.

Note that the keyword you enter in this section must be made of letters, numbers, underscores or spaces. No special or accented characters are allowed.
